Women's rights activist, author and filmmaker Naomi Wolf said she plans to wear a red dress on Thursday to the Wall Street protests in New York City. 'I think women are allowed to be part of this fight, we are angry, and this is a fight for women. I am going to join in, I am going to wear a red dress on Thursday, I want to say I am part of the feminist movement. We are angry,' Ms Wolf told ABC. 'I mean, the injustice of a man being executed for a crime he didn't commit and that is beyond the realm of justice to me.' Many women, like attorney Sheila O'Malley, have become involved in McKee's defense after an initial suspect, Jake Thomas Falley, who was a close friend of the victim, was found not guilty. In another twist to the case, DNA evidence found on the murder weapon was unable to identify the suspect. McKee, who has been convicted of killing Philadelphia Police Officer Daniel Faulkner on September 6, 2011, was awaiting execution on November 1. According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, McKee will spend the rest of his life in prison after a judge rejected a final appeal to block the execution.
